Trial will be under Army Act if a person enters restricted area: Rana Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the trial will be conducted under the Army Act if a person enters the restricted area.

Expressing his views in the National Assembly on Friday, he said that the military courts law has been intact for the last 70 years. "The Army Act should be nullified if a person cannot be tried under it," he maintained.

He said that the people are talking about human rights. "Do the relatives of the martyrs not possess human rights?" he queried.

Rana Sanaullah said that the noose is being tightened around the human smugglers. "Strict action will be taken against the people involved in the heinous business," he added.

He said that the nation wants the miscreants of May 9 incidents be brought to justice.
