ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the government has broken the backbone of terrorists. Talking to a World Bank delegation led by vice-president Annette Dixon on Thursday, he said that an end to terrorism and improving economy and education standard are among the priorities of the government. He said that economy is improving due to the policies of the government. The prime minister said that inflation has reduced to 13-year low. “Financial deficit has also reduced due to better policies of the government.” He told the delegation that the government had taken decisive steps against terrorism and extremism. The World Bank delegation appreciated the steps taken by the government. Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Secretary Finance Waqar Masood Khan, Secretary Economic Affairs Division Muhammad Saleem Sethi and World Bank Executive Director Nasir Khosa were also present.
