I won’t resign on demands of conspirators, says PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he will not resign on the demands of conspirators.

He was presiding over the first meeting of the Federal Cabinet after the JIT report on Thursday.

The Federal Cabinet rejected the JIT report, endorsing the PM’s decision not to resign.

The prime minister said that his family did not earn anything from politics, but lost a lot. “The JIT report is combination of hypotheses and allegations,” he added.

He said that they had not misappropriated a single penny during 32-year political career and time would disclose all mysteries, which was not far. “We will not let anyone to derail the journey of progress. Pakistan has already paid a heavy price for these stunts and now it will come to an end,” he added.

The meeting also reviewed future political and legal strategy.

It also formed a special committee to name Islamabad Airport. The committee comprises of Mir Hasil Bizanjo, Irfan Siddiqui, Marriyum Aurangzeb and Barrister Zafarullah.

It also approved new rules and regulations for the appointment of Member Oil and Member Gas to the Oil Gas and Regulatory Authority (Ogra).
