Worsening situation of smog, Lahore ranks first in the list of most polluted cities

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Despite of all government measures, the smog situation in Punjab has not improved, Lahore has once again ranked on top of the list of most polluted cities in the world with 315 air quality index.

According to Environment Protection Department, National Hockey Stadium is the most polluted area of the city with 374 air quality index. 271 in Town Hall, 371 in DHA Phase eight air quality index was recorded.

Meanwhile, Faisalabad ranked the second most polluted city in the world with 200 air quality index and Bahawalpur remained on third

On the other hand, 127 air quality index in Rawalpindi was recorded.
