Zaman Anwar Jani bags Rustam-e-Pakistan title

LAHORE (92 News) - Zaman Anwar Jani defeated Asif Mochi Pehalwan to win the Rustam-e-Pakistan title at Punjab Stadium on Sunday.

The bout was decided on points after it tied for 30 minutes. The winner bagged jackpot of Rs one million, while the runner-up was awarded Rs500,000.

A large number of people witnessed the final bout.

Lahore Wrestling Association president Mehr Akram alias Kala Pehlwan supervised the contest, while Rustam-e-Pak-o-Hind Bashir Bhola Bhala, Hamid Khan Pehalwan and Usman Shahid Pehalwan were the referees.
