Zardari warns to expel current rulers from parliament

GARHI KHUDA BAKSH (92 News) – Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has warned the current rulers to expel them from the parliament. Addressing the public gathering to pay tribute to late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bux Thursday, lashing out the federal government and said time has come to go for Islamabad and send the PTI-led government packing. Will take this fight for the country and expel the current rulers from the parliament. The PPP co-chairman said that if Prime Minister Imran Khan stayed in power, he would push the country 100 years back, adding, “I stay at home or jail but his party would soon topple the government. The former president said that soon he would announce a march to Islamabad to oust the incumbent government. “Be patient, we will announce a campaign soon to bring topple the government. We will not stage sit-in like them (PTI) and will continue sleeping on the roads till they resign.” Zardari said that it has become difficult for the poor masses pay their electricity bills. He held the federal government responsible for inflation and urged the masses to support PPP. He said that the value of Dollar increased by Rs40 and prices of fruits, grossery and other edible items double in the era of current government. He also claimed that the government was lodging cases against him to abolish the 18th Amendment. All arrangements had been finalized to observe the death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bux with great reverence and respect. The mausoleum of Bhutto and the venue to stage a public meeting on the occasion have been decorated with banners and party flags. Walk-through gates have been installed at four entrance points of the mausoleum while 42 camps have been set up to facilitate PPP workers at the venue of the public meeting. Tight security arrangements have been finalized and 7,000 police officials have been deployed to avert any security threat. Medical camps have also been set up at the venue of the public meeting. The PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto, co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, other party leaders and a large number of workers from every nook and corner of Pakistan have reached Naudero.
