ANF rescues 13 foreigners, foils bid to smuggle drugs

KARACHI (92 News) – The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has on Monday foiled a bid of drugs and human trafficking and rescued 13 foreign nationals held hostage by a group of smuggler.

As per details, the ANF carried out an intelligence based operation in Karachi’s Dar Muhammad Goth at the private jail of a smuggler namely Saleem Baloch and rescued 13 foreigners including eight from Tanzania and five from Nigera held hostage.

The ANF further seized 1kg heroine and 20kg Cannabis, which was to be smuggled abroad.

The ANF spokesman said that the 13 foreigners were held hostage as deposits for drugs by the smuggler Saleem Baloch.


The spokesman said that the smuggler was on the run but they have also informed Balochistan government in this regard.
