Another female victim of SHO Okara Mehar Ismail seeks justice
OKARA (92 News) – Another female victim of Okara police Station House Officer (SHO) Mehar Ismail, has once again reached Lahore and appeared before the Inspector general of Punjab Police.
The widow namely Sughra Bibi accused SHO Mehar Ismail of seizing her shop and house besides giving threats of serious consequences. She said that she complained District Police Officer Okara Rana Faisal but to no avail.
The widow said that the group who illegally seized their property has also destroyed their farm and corps.
She further appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif requesting him for justice.
Mehar Ismail had on Thursday registered a false case against 92 News anchorperson Qaiser Khan for raising the issues of public.
The area residents complained 92 News program “Andher Nagri” team Okara’s about the Jaji dacoit gang.
When 92 News program “Andher Nagri” anchorperson raised the issue, the area SHO registered a case against him as the SHO Mehar Ismail is supporting Jaji dacoit gang.
Journalist organizations have strongly condemned the brutality of the police and violence against journalists and demanded action against concerned policemen.
Thousands of journalists had on Thursday (yesterday) stage protest demonstration across the country to protest against police brutality.
