KARACHI (92 News) – Another petition has been filed in Sindh High Court against the lethal and fatal effects suffered by the general public due to VIP culture and blockade of roads.

A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Justice Sajjad Ali Shah heard petitions against VIP culture and blockade of roads.

The petitioner said that an innocent girl namely Salma lost her life two years ago due to road closure during the prime minister’s visit to Mithi, while another toddler Bisma lost her life during Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s visit to Civil Hospital last months.

The petitioner said that the roads are closed for traffic for hours due to the movement of ministers which is a serious violation of constitutions Article 9, 14 and 25.

The petitioner pleads the court to issue orders against VIP culture and blockade of roads. The court combined all the applications and adjourned the hearing.
