ANP want LG polls under army supervision in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Awami National Party (ANP) leader Shahi Syed has on Sunday said that the Local Government Elections in the province should be held under the supervision of the army and the ANP will take part in the LG polls.

A convention of ANP was organized in Karachi’s Mardan House in connection with the LG polls.

Addressing the party candidates the ANP provincial president Shahi Syed said that an alliance has been finalized with the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam in Western district, adding that they can discuss the alliance in with Jamaat-e-Islami, Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and other parties for city’s peace.


He said that the past mistakes will not be repeated in LG elections. Other ANP leaders have also addressed the convention.
