Arif Alvi, Imran Ismail held outside Bani Gala
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As the police continues its crackdown against the leaders and workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the federal capital ahead of the party’s November 2 sit-in, police have Monday apprehended PTI leaders Arif Alvi and Imran Ismail.
The two leaders were arrested outside Bani Gala while trying to enter Bani Gala. The PTI leaders also staged a brief sit-in.
Arif Alvi before sitting in the police van, asked the party workers to push ahead, and attend Islamabad Lockdown with zest.
In his message on social media website, Imran Ismail said that they were taken to the Secretariat police station.
On the other hand, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar ordered the local administration to immediately release the PTI leaders.
