Army airstrikes destroy terrorist training camp in Shawal
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The Pakistan Army’s airstrikes have destroyed terrorist training camp in the Shawal area near the southern border with South Waziristan.
In a statement issued by the ISPR, the fresh airstrikes took place in Gurbaz village of Shawal district, resultantly, a training camp and weapons depot of terrorists was also destroyed in the strike.
“There are reports of several terrorists being killed,” ISPR said.
The airstrikes are part of ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists in North Waziristan, a tribal region near the Afghan border that is used as a base by the insurgents to attack the rest of Pakistan.
