Army takes Uzair Baloch into custody

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Pakistan Army has on Wednesday taken Lyari gang war commander Uzair Baloch into custody under Pakistan Army’s Official Secret Act-1923.

In a statement issued by the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Uzair Baloch was taken into custody on the charges of espionage and leakage of sensitive security information to foreign intelligence agencies.

Earlier, the government had yesterday decided to send the case of Lyari gangwar’s Uzair Baloch to a military court.

The case of MQM Lyari former unit in-charge Sheikh Sher Muhammad will also be tried by a military court.


The special public prosecutor has informed the anti-terrorism court about the government’s decision.
