Army XI beat Pakistan XI by six wickets in Independence Day cricket match

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Army XI defeated Pakistan XI by six wickets in the Independence Day cricket match at Army Cricket Stadium on Friday.

Shahid Afridi led Army XI, while Misbahul Haq was the captain of Pakistan XI. Ahmed Shahzad, Azhar Ali, Muhammad Rizwan, Sohail Tanvir and Anwar Ali also participated in the match.

Batting first, Pakistan XI scored 103 runs for the loss four wickets in the stipulated 10 overs.

In reply, Shahid Afridi’s excellent 44 runs off 20 balls led the team to victory.
