Around 55,000 appear for medical colleges entrance test

LAHORE (92 News) – An entrance test for admission of medical and dental colleges in Punjab is being held today (Sunday) across Punjab.

More than 55,000 candidates (36,000 female and 19,500 male) have appeared in the test this year which is being conducted by the University of Health Sciences (UHS).

The test is being held simultaneously at 27 centers established in 13 cities of Punjab including Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Sargodha, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Sialkot. The test started at 09:00am.

The test is comprising of multiple choice questions (MCQs), divided into four sections namely Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology.


This year, the candidates will compete for 3405 MBBS seats in 17 public sector medical colleges and 216 BDS seats in 03 public dental colleges of the province.
