Ashiana scam: Shehbaz Sharif’s remand extended until Dec 6
LAHORE (92 News) – The accountability court reserved extended the physical remand of Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif until December 6 in the Ashiana Housing Scheme scandal.
Earlier, the court reserved the verdict.
The NAB prosecutor told court that Shehbaz Sharif has been shifted to a clean place where sunshine is available.
He said that Shehbaz Sharif had given precious gifts worth Rs 600 million to his kin.
Shehbaz Sharif’s counsel said that the NAB could not get any proof during 55 days and seeking of extension in remand is unjustified.
Shehbaz Sharif accused the NAB of making false accusations.
On the other hand, PML-N lawyers resorted to hooliganism outside court and exchanged hot words with policemen. Hamza Shehbaz led the PML-N workers.
Shehbaz Sharif was produced in court after expiry of his transit remand.
Stringent security arrangements had been made during the hearing.
