ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday hoped that Asia’s largest oil and gas reserves likely to be found in Arabian Sea near Karachi.

The prime minister said Pakistan would not need to import oil after reserves are found near Karachi’s seas. “God willing the reserves will be so large that we will not need to import any oil,” he said.

“We are hopeful of finding large reserves of gas and oil in the sea near Karachi. The nation should pray for this and I will soon share good news regarding this,” he added.

PM Imran Khan said that there had been positive indicators in the exploration process, adding that they would give breaking good news to the nation within three weeks.

PM Imran asked the nation to pray for the success of the exploration efforts. He said that the expected oil and gas reserves could change the fortune of the country.

PM announces to break good news about oil within three weeks

Earlier on March 21, PM Imran Khan announced that he would break a good news about oil within three weeks.

While talking to a meeting with editors and owners of media houses, the prime minister said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should arrest the big thieves. He also mentioned that the country is facing governance issue due to the anti-graft watchdog.

The Pakistan was created on the name of Islam,” the premier said, adding that he will inform the students how the state of Madinah came into being.

Country’s economy situation under control

PM Khan said that when he had assumed the office of the prime minister, the country’ economy was on the verge of bankruptcy but due to positive polices, adopted by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government, situation gradually turned better.

PM terms Pakistan should stay alert until polls in India

In the wake of previous experience, PM Khan said that Pakistan should stay alert until general elections in India concluded. He also said that Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Narendra Modi’s popularity was rapidly falling in India and in this situation, he could make another misadventure to get political mileage ahead of polls.
