ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP chairman Asif Ali Zardari has challenged the shifting of fake accounts case from a banking court to Islamabad in the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday.

The petition filed on Tuesday contended that Asif Zardari is being victimized politically. “The FIA started a probe into the fake accounts case and did not nominate Asif Zardari in the interim challan,” it contended.

It stated that the Supreme Court had not ordered to transfer the case. “The SC verdict was misinterpreted. Asif Zardari has already served jail as political victimization and was acquitted in the fake and fabricated case,” it stated.

The petition prayed to court to declare the case transfer null and void.
