Asif Zardari, Nawaz Sharif were 'selected': PM Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he was not selected, but PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari and PML-N founder Nawaz Sharif were selected.
Criticizing the opposition in an interview on Saturday, he said that Bilawal had entered the politics by virtue of a chit while Maryam came to politics due to her father.
Defending taking of U-turn, the prime minister said that only immature people talk about U-turn.
He said that he was not under pressure in appointing CPEC Authority Chairman Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa. "I will resist the Army if it pressurizes me," he said.
PM Imran Khan said that he had talked about giving 10 million jobs and five million houses in five years, not in two years. "We will have gone beyond these target on completion of five years," he said.
He said that the government is going to launch two projects – Ravi River and Bundle Islands. "Lands are not being forcibly acquired for the project in Lahore. We will have to complete the project to save Lahore," he added.
The prime minister said that he would continue changing the cabinet until fulfillment of his objective.
