Asma Murder Case: SC adjourns hearing till next month
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of the murder case of a medical student Asma Rani in Kohat for one month.
A three member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar heard the suo motu case of the Asma Rani murder in Kohat.
In today’s proceedings, Deputy Attorney General (AG) told the court that red warrants of the accused were being issued.
The uncle of the accused told the court that they contacted the father of the accused Mujahid.
The CJP remarked that early or late, the accused will be arrested, adding that there was no relaxation for the fugitive accused.
Justice Saqib Nisar asked the uncle of the accused, who is a member of PTI that strict action would be taken if he tried to influence the case.
He further directed the police officials to produce results in the one and adjourned the hearing for one month.
