Asset details: ECP likely to suspend 350 lawmakers
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is likely to suspend 350 lawmakers for not submitting asset details.
According the ECP, the parliamentarians who failed to submit their asset details with the ECP, will not be allowed to take part in legislation, adding that the asset details are must to submit under Section 42 of the Rupa Act.
The ECP will issue notification for the suspension of parliamentarians who failed to submit their asset details even after grace period of 15 days.
As many as 824 lawmakers out of 1174 have submitted their asset details.
