Assets beyond income: NAB summons Aleem Khan on Feb 6
LAHORE (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Punjab Senior Minister Aleem Khan in the assets beyond income and offshore company case on February 6.
Sources said that the NAB Lahore had sought details of offshore companies and properties from several countries.
Meanwhile, progress has been made in the Bank of Punjab scandal. A cheque amounting to Rs 700 million was handed over to the BoP authorities.
Recoveries are being made from the accused Hamesh Khan and Haris Steel Mills director Sheikh Afzal.
During the investigations, the allegations of misuse of power and fraud were proved against the accused.
The DG NAB Lahore said that each penny looted from the national exchequer would be recovered. “All accused are equal before the NAB,” he maintained.
