ATC acquits Imran Khan in SSP torture case
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday acquitted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in case pertaining to torture on in SSP Asmatullah Juneijo.
The ATC Shahrukh Arjumand pronounced the judgement in the presence of PTI chairman Imran Khan.
The court had reserved the verdict on April 13.
Later talking to media outside the anti terrorism court, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Friday while criticizing his political opponents said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari have ruined the democracy and country’s institutions.
He said that they [Nawaz and Zardari] used police for killing of people.
Nawaz Sharif has lost his mental condition, he said and added the PML-N supremo should consult a psychiatrist.
