ATC declares 20 MQM leaders proclaimed offenders
KARACHI (92 News) – The Anti-Terrorism Court has on Sunday declared more than 20 leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) including party chief Altaf Hussain proclaimed offenders in eight cases of hate speech.
The ATC heard the hate speech case, in which police presented a report in the court and said that the MQM chief Altaf Hussain is in London, while other nominated accused are underground whose arrest is unlikely.
The court declared MQM chief Altaf Hussain, Dr Farooq Sattar, Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan, Khalid Maqbool, Rashid Godil, Khushbakht Shujaat, Salman Mujahid, Rehan Hashmi and others proclaimed offenders.
The court further ordered the police to present asset details of the nominated accuse in the case.
