ATC indicts 20 in Youhanabad lynching case
LAHORE (92 News) – The Anti-Terrorism Court has on Wednesday indicted 20 suspects in the Youhanabad lynching case of two men.
The 20 suspects alleged involved in an incident of violence that resulted in the lynching of two men after suicide bombings on a church in Youhanabad were presented in the court.
All of the accused denied charges leveled by prosecution during the hearing.
The ATC judge Mohammad Qasim indicted the 20 suspects and summoned witnesses at the next hearing. The suspects have pleaded guilty to the charges.
Most of these suspects were arrested from houses of their close relatives where they had been hiding, after police identified them through CCTV footages and still cameras.
As many as 14 people, including two policemen, were killed and 77 others injured when two suicide bombers struck outside two churches in Youhanabad area of Lahore.
