ATC indicts MQM worker for possessing explosives

KARACHI (92 News) – The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has on Monday indicted a Muttahida Qaumi Movement worker Amir Ali alias Sir Phata in case of possessing explosives.

The accused Amir Ali alias Sir Phata arrested from MQM’s Nine-Zero office was presented in the court. After hearing arguments from both the sides, the court indicted the MQM worker.

However, the accused Amir Ali alias Sir Phata pleaded not guilty. The court also issued notices to investigation officer and witnesses ordering them to ensure their presence on next date of hearing.


He was arrested by Rangers on March 11, 2015, from Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s headquarters Nine-Zero during a search operation.
