Ayan Ali Indictment Case: LHC issues notice to Customs officials
LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has on Tuesday issued notices to Customs officials against super model Ayan Ali’s indictment and ordered to present record from trial court.
The LHC Justice Abdul Sami Khan heard a petition against model Ayan Ali’s indictment, in which the petitioner challenged the decision by the Custom Court Rawalpindi.
During the hearing, the model’s lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa said that a baseless case has been registered against Ayan Ali and there wasn’t any evidence present on the basis of which she has been indicted. He said that ASF doesn’t have the authority to detain Ayan Ali.
The lawyer requested the court to cancel the indictment, on which the court issued notices to Customs officials for December 22.
