Azhar’s ton guides Pakistan to six-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in 2nd ODI

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by six wickets in the second one-day international at Gaddafi Stadium on Friday, winning the series 2-0.

Chasing the target of 269, Azhar Ali smashed 102 off 104 balls. Haris Sohail (52), Shoaib Malik (36) and Sarfraz Ahmed (22) were the main scorers.

AG Cremer grabbed two wickets, while Mupariwa and Chibhabha took one wicket each.

Azhar Ali was declared Man of the Match.


Earlier after winning the toss, Pakistan invited Zimbabwe to bat.

Zimbabwe scored 268 for seven in 50 overs.

Sikanadar Raza (100*) and CJ Chibhabha (99) were the main scorers.


Wahab Riaz and Yasir Shah scored two wickets each. Anwar Ali, Muhammad Sami and Shoaib Malik got one wicket each.
