Balochistan Assembly session summoned to elect new CM on 13th
QUETTA (92 News) – Balochistan Governor has summoned an assembly session for January 13 to elect new chief minister for the provincial cabinet.
The new leader of the house would be elected during the session following the resignation of former chief minister Sanaullah Zehri after submission of no-confidence motion by the opposition parties.
The opposition parties have announced they would not field a candidate for the new chief minister.
Earlier, Opposition Leader in the Balochistan Assembly Maulana Abdul Wasey said that they would not become part of the government.
“We will not support any undemocratic act and will remain in the opposition,” he said.
Maulana Abdul Wasey said that the government should nominate a joint candidate for the slot of chief minister after consultation.
