Balochistan govt’s problem increases as another minister, adviser resign
QUETTA (92 News) – The problems of Balochistan Chief Minister Sardar Sanaullah Zehri have on Friday increased further following the resignations of a minister and an adviser to the chief minister.
Provincial minister for Labour and Manpower Rahat Jamali, from the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), tenders his resignation from his post.
Adviser to Balochistan CM on Excise and Taxation Abdul Majid Abro of the PML-N has also sent his resignation to the governor.
More resignations are expected to pour in in the coming days.
On the other hand, people took to streets in Sui against the removal of provincial home minister Sarfraz Bugti. The protesting people chanted slogans against the provincial government.
Earlier, opposition in the Balochistan Assembly had filed a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Sardar Sanaullah Zehri.
The no-confidence motion was signed by 14 members of the provincial assembly and supported by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen and other parties.
