Bangladesh thrash UAE by 51 runs in Asia Cup

DHAKA (92 News) – Bangladesh defeated United Arab Emirates by 51 runs in the third match of the Asia Cup at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur on Friday.

Batting first, Bangladesh scored 133 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Mohammad Mithun (47), Soumya Sarkar (21) and Mahmudullah (36) were the main scorers.

Muhammad Naveed and Amjad Javed got two wickets each.

In reply, United Arab Emirates were bowled out for 82 runs in 17.4 overs.

Mustafizur Rahman, Mashrafe Mortaza, Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah took two wickets each.
