Barrister Zafarullah files petition in SC against Rangers’ powers limitation
LAHORE (92 News) – The Wattan Party chief Barrister Zafarullah Khan has on Monday challenged the Sindh government’s decision pertaining to limitation of Rangers’ special powers in the Supreme Court.
The Wattan Party chief Barrister Zafarullah Khan filed a petition in Supreme Court Lahore Registry.
The petitioner said in its petition that the Rangers’ special powers cannot be limit under Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 and Supreme Court decision.
The petitioner plead that the act of limiting Ranger’s policing powers is illegal and appealed the court to declare the notification of limiting Ranger’s policing powers null and void.
