KARACHI (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that no selected or puppet is acceptable.

Addressing a meeting of the general workers in Karachi on Friday, he said that the people are the source of power. “The will of the umpire will not work in the country. I give a message to the selected government and its facilitators that the PPP is again coming to Rawalpindi,” he said.

The PPP chairman said that the party founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was hanged in Rawalpindi and Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in the same city. “Now the third generation of the PPP is coming. We will wage a new war for the public rule on December 27,” he said.

He said that the PPP will get the people rid of the puppet. “The provinces are being deprived of their rights. The courts granted Asif Zardari bail and we will get him treated in hospitals,” he said.

On December 10, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the selected people cannot resolved the problems of masses.

He said that the mandate of public is being robbed in every election so in this way the condition of country can never be changed towards right. “Selected individuals only legislate in favour of selectors,” he added.

The PPP chairman said when selected people became legislators; they passed laws that benefited the selectors. He said that when elected people became legislators, they passed laws which benefited the masses. “Labeling each other as thieves and robbers would not resolve problems,” he added.

Bilawal also mentioned that as long as representatives of the people do not come to our assemblies, any legislation in favour of the public cannot be made.

Bilawal lamented that basic and democratic rights of the people were being violated in the country. “We will have to struggle together to get the masses their due rights,” he added. “Everywhere basic rights and the freedom of expression are being attacked. We cannot make any compromise on human rights,” he maintained.

“There is no chance of governor’s rule being imposed in Sindh. If we don’t listen to constructive criticism, how will we advance?” he asked. “If Asif Zardari was released from prison, he would be shifted to Karachi,” he added.
