ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that there is no threat to democracy or parliament.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, he said that there was a threat to only Nawaz Sharif.

He said that Mian Sahib forget about the Charter of Democracy after coming to power. “I will neither attend a phone call from Nawaz Sharif nor put my signature on any paper,” he maintained.

The PPP chairman said: “Mian Raza Rabbani’s statement on the Article 62 and 63 is his personal opinion. It is not the party policy.”

He was of the view that there should be no role of the army or judiciary in the parliament. “The PPP has always tried to protect democracy. The PML-N has never supported the PPP. Nawaz Sharif only wants to protect himself,” he maintained.
