Bilawal Bhutto, Shehbaz Sharif meet Maulana Fazlur Rahman for APC
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto and PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif called on JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman on Monday.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that an all-parties conference (APC) will be held during the last 10 days of this month. “The country has been made an economic slave. There is no justification for the continuity of the government,” he said.
Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that a message should be conveyed that the nation is not ready for such experiments. “The government is economic killer of the country,” he maintained.
He said that it was not possible for the government to pass the budget. “The opposition leader and members are not allowed to speak in the House.”
Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that the production orders for their members were not being issued. “The fake government and fake majority are unacceptable to the nation. We are uniting on one page.”
Bilawal Bhutto said that they would not allow the passage of the anti-people budget. “We are ready to fight against the government at each forum and front,” he said.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the government should bring the budget which should be reflective of the people’s wishes. “It is the worst budget of the country and we condemn it.”
He said that all decisions in the APC would be made with consensus. “The APC date will be finalized shortly. All matters, including trade and investment, have become challenges,” he said.
The PML-N president said that the selected prime minister and the selected team had destroyed economy.
