Black Day observed against Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir

LAHORE (92 News) – A Black Day was observed on Wednesday across the country and on both sides of Line of Control to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and lodge protest against grave human rights violations by India in the Occupied Kashmir.

In this connection, rallies and functions were held across the country and Azad Kashmir to draw attention of the world community towards the Kashmir issue.

All officials of federal and provincial governments wore black armbands to express political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris.

Special prayers were offered for the martyrs of Kashmir.


In big cities, banners were displayed at conspicuous places inscribing with slogans in favour of Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom.

These include ‘Down with Indian Occupation’, ‘Stop Atrocities against Kashmiris’, ‘Grant Kashmiris Right to self-determination’ and ‘international community should take notice of human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir’.
