Blind women gang-raped in Layyah; CM takes notice

LAYYAH (92 News) – Three people raped a blind women in Kot Sultan, Layyah, on Saturday.

The 36-year-old victim had become blind in an acid attack in 2001.

The accused took the victim to a dera on the pretext of giving her a financial aid and raped her.

Later, the accused fled. The police have arrested two accused, while raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining accused.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident,  ordering immediate arrest of the culprits.

He has demanded a report from the Layyah DPO. He said that the victim would be provided justice at every cost.
