Bodies of Talagang bus accident victims’ reach native area
TALAGANG (92 News) – The bodies of 26 passengers who were killed last night were when a passenger bus fell into a deep excavation at Dhook Pathan near Chakwal, have reached the native area.
The funeral prayers of the deceased passengers would be held later in the day.
Earlier, at least 26 people were killed and many others injured when a passenger bus fell into a ravine in Attock district of Pakistan’s Punjab province yesterday (Wednesday).
The doomed bus was carrying more than 80 passengers to a religious congregation in the provincial capital of Lahore from Attock.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the accident and directed concerned authorities to provide best medical treatment to the injured free of cost.
