Boy, woman martyred in unprovoked Indian shelling along LoC
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – A woman and boy were martyred while another woman injured in two different areas of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) on Sunday over unprovoked shelling by Indian forces along Line of Control (LoC).
In the statement, Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR) said that Indian army resorted to unprovoked fire in Hotsprings and Kotkotera Sectors along LOC targeting civil population.
The ISPR also said that the woman named Nasreen Bibi, age 45 years and a young boy Muhammad Zahid son of Shabbair Ahmed, age 12 years embraced martyrdom in the firing.
Another civilian Sonia Bibi sustained serious injuries due to unprovoked Indian firing.
The ISPR further said that Pakistan Army troops responded effectively and targeted those posts which initiated fire, said the ISPR. Intermittent firing is still taking place, added the ISPR.
Six civilians among four children injured in Indian firing at LoC
On April 5, Indian Army troops resorted to unprovoked fire in Chirikot Sector of Line of Control( LOC) targeting civil population.
According to the Inter-Service Public Realtion (ISPR), six citizens including a woman and 4 children were injured. The injured have been shifted to the hospital.
Those injured include :–Shabnam W/O Raqeeb Hussain Shah, age 35 years-Kashan S/O Raqeeb Hussain Shah, age 13 years-Faizan S/O Raqeeb Hussain Shah, age 6 years-Nisah D/O Shafique, age 14 years-Asifa D/O Shafique, age 10 years, residents of village Serian and- Shahid Hussain S/O Muhammad Hussain, age 28 years, resident of village Chafar
The ISPR said that Pakistan army troops responded effectively targeting Indian posts undertaking the fire. It also said that the reports of five Indian soldiers killed and many injured.
On April 2, three Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in unprovoked firing by Indian forces along LoC, according to ISPR. Moreover, seven Indian soldiers were also killed and 19 others injured in retaliatory fire.
