Bus crushes two to death in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD (92 News) – A speeding bus crushed two motorcyclists to death and injured another at Jhang road in Faisalabad on Monday.
According to details garnered, a speeding bus hit youth, riding motorcyclist at the Jhang road, resulting in death of three on the spot and severe injuries to one.
“The bodies and injured were moved to hospital for medico-legal”, the local police said. The accident took place on Jhang Road when a speeding bus lost control and collided with the bike.
The enraged locals staged protest in the area and burned the bus, demanding the authorities to take action into the mater. The bus passengers saved their lives from fled to the scene.
Earlier, at least nine persons including women and children were killed during an road accident at the Sahianwala Interchange near Faisalabad.
According to the reports, the incident happened when a van carrying members of same family collided with a truck from Chak Jhumra at the Sahianwala Interchange from behind, killing nine persons.
The rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to Allied Hospital, Faisalabad.
