Cabinet’s zero hour session discuss Maryam’s departure for abroad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan convened zero hour session of the cabinet members and discussed about the departure of Maryam Nawaz for abroad. According to the sources, Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda strongly opposed to let Maryam Nawaz fly abroad. He said that the government should not exclude her name from the exit control list (ECL) at any cost. The sources also confirmed that several members of the cabinet among PM Khan agreed with Faisal Vawda’s opinion during the zero hour session of cabinet members. On the other hand, the federal cabinet meeting under the chair of PM Imran Khan approved the appointment of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation’s (OPF) Board of Governor (BoG). Briefing the journalists on cabinet meeting, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that MoU Afghanistan and Anti-Narcotics agenda also approved in the meeting, however, the matters regarding Jinnah Airport and Local Government Commission has been delayed. During the federal cabinet, the briefing was given about hoarding of the flour and hike in the prices of electricity and gas. The special assistant said that the meeting took stock of fifteen-month performance of the government.
