Cable operators postpone strike till Friday on PBA request
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Cable operators have postponed their strike until Friday on the request of the Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA).
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Cable Operators Association chairman Khalid Arain condemned the PEMRA Chairman Absar Alam statement in which he had termed them Indian agents.
“Hundreds of people are being deprived of their livelihood to benefit three companies,” he said.
He said that rude behavior was adopted towards cable operator during a meeting of the PEMRA.
Imran Abedi demanded that the PEMRA should postpone the auction of DTH.
