Can make big upset for PTI if leadership allows, claims PPP minister
KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Minister for Information and Pakistan People Party (PPP) spokesman Nasir Ali Shah has refuted the media report as candidate for Sindh chief minister on Sunday.
Speaking to the journalists after a meeting of the chief minister and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, the PPP spokesman brushed aside media reports that claimed the Sindh’s Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah being removed from his post. He also said that the news of a forward bloc are baseless.
“People are not happy with the PTI government and wanted to get rid of. We can make a big upset in the province if our leadership allowed us, the Sindh info minister claimed. He also said that placing Murad Ali Shah’s name on ECL as conspiracy and is aimed at depriving the province of its CPEC share.
Nasir Hussain Shah said the incumbent government, which came into power through dishonest means, cannot stable till now, terming that this government cannot snatch the government from PPP. To a question, he raised a question that will PPP’s MPAs be separated from their party through horse-trading.
Shah said the chief minister is enjoying 100 percent confidence of his leadership, adding that we will submit our reply to the court of law and prove the JIT report wrong.
It is pertinent to mention here that Murad Ali Shah was among over 150 people placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) in a probe into fake accounts cases being heard by the Supreme Court.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Imran Khan called Sindh lawmaker Ali Gohar Mehar to discuss the political dynamics of the province.
PTI Sindh spokesperson said that the premier expressed his reservations over the current political situation in the province. The prime minister has also accepted Mehar’s invitation to visit Sindh in the coming days.
