Cases against Altaf Hussain: Sindh police lack government policy to make arrests
KARACHI (92 News) – Several criminal cases have been registered against Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain and other party leaders in Karachi on Wednesday.
At least ten cases were registered against MQM chief Altaf Hussain for his provocative speech against law enforcement agencies in Karachi, putting pressure on Sindh Police.
Sindh police officials said that several provincial and national assembly members have also been nominated in the cases and they were waiting for the government’s policy to make arrest.
Police official said that they were also considering city’s law and order situation after making arrest, while no one was arrested due to lack of policy in this regard.
On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Home Minister Sohail Anwar Sayyal are not present in the country.
