Cases registered against 62 school heads for poor security in Mardan

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The police have registered cases against 62 school heads for poor security in Mardan on Wednesday.

Sixty-five schools and a college have been sealed in Khanewal. 

Security at over 400 educational institutions in Islamabad was declared unsatisfactory. 

All the Army Public Schools and the schools being run by Pak Navy have been closed till February 1. 

A mock exercise was held in educational institutions in Rawalpindi to deal with attackers in the wake of terrorism.


Meanwhile, the government has announced to form a special force for the security of educational institutions in Balochistan.

A security plan has also been devised for schools in Karachi.

The police launched a search operation in Bahauddin University Multan and sealed its six hostels. The university has been closed till February 1.
