Ceremonies held across the country to remember APS martyrs
LAHORE (92 News) – People from all walks of life and from across the country are holding ceremonies to pay homage to the martyrs of Army Public School (APS) as the incident has marked one year.
Sirens sounded in Lahore to show solidarity with the martyrs of Army Public School (APS) massacre, while the provincial capital observed one-minute silence and traffic was halted for one-minute.
Remembering APS tragedy all across the country, the provincial government arranged a ceremony at Lahore’s Mall Road to mark the day. Rallies in different cities of Punjab including Gujranwala, Sialkot, Okara are being held in which large number of people participated.
Rallies in several cities of Sindh including Ghotki, Sukkur, Hyderabad, Daharki are being held to pay tribute to the martyrs and survivors of APS and to express solidarity with the heirs.
Ceremonies in schools of different cities across the country are being held.
