Ceremony held to pay tributes to Gayari martyrs

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – A special ceremony was held to pay tributes to the Shuhada of Gayari who sacrifice their lives in the line of duty in 2012 due to a massive snow avalanche.

According to the ISPR, Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman, Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lt Gen Nadeem Raza and relatives of martyrs attended the ceremony.

The Corps Commander laid a floral wreath at the Shuhada Monument.


Paying rich tribute to the martyrs and their families, Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lt Gen Nadeem Raza said that the Pakistan Army will always remember its officers and men who laid their lives defending the motherland.
