LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan cricket team’s bowling coach Azhar Mahmood has on Friday said that changing anyone would make no difference unless the basic problems are solved in Pakistan cricket.

In his latest blog, Azhar Mahmood said that coaches can come and go, but unless the basic issues Pakistan cricket is facing are actually addressed, simply changing personnel would have no effect.

He said that the national cricket team lack confidence, adding that the players feel unsafe. “Some players do not want to change themselves, while several didn’t even know the game,” he said.

Former bowling coach said that there is quantity but not quality in the domestic cricket structure as there are far too many teams and the quality of cricketers coming through into the national team is not up to the standard that it should be.
