PML-N leaders Chaudhry Sher Ali, Abid Sher Ali apologize to ECP
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders Chaudhry Sher Ali and Abid Sher Ali have on Tuesday submitted their written unconditional apology over alleged violations of elections code of conduct in Local Bodies’ polls in Punjab.
A four-member commission, headed by Chief Election Commissioner Justice (r) Sardar Raza Khan resumed hearing into the violation of code of conduct issued by the electoral body for LB polls by Chaudhry Sher Ali and Abid Sher Ali and others.
The lawyer of Abid Sher Ali appeared before the commission and submitted written reply, in which the PML-N leaders and others apologized to the ECP.
Abid Sher Ali and others stated in their reply that they respect the dignity of the ECP.
The Chief Election Commissioner adjourened the hearing till November 26.
