Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali expresses concern over kidnap of SHC CJ’s son
KARACHI (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali has expressed his concern over the kidnap of Owais Ali Shah, son of SHC CJ Sajjad Ali Shah, on Saturday.
He directed the DG Rangers Sindh Maj-Gen Bilal Akbar, IGP Sindh AD Khawaja and provincial government to recover Owais Shah at the earliest.
He also directed to improve law and order in Sindh, especially Karachi.
CJP Anwar Zaheer Jamali said that sense of insecurity was increasing among citizens due to kidnaps.
Earlier, CJP Anwar Zaheer Jamali presided over a high-level meeting at Karachi Registry.
Chief Secretary, Home Secretary and Sindh IGP AD Khawaja gave a detailed briefing to the chief justice on the kidnap of Owais Shah.
CIA DIG Sultan Khawaja, chief of the investigation team, was also present.
